Directions

From the north: take I-95 S to exit 78, Boulevard. Take a right on Arthur Ashe Boulevard and go 1.6 miles – take a right on Grove Avenue (just past the museums) and you'll see our white picket fence on your left. Park on the street or see "Parking" below.

From the south: take I-95 N. As you cross the river, be prepared to merge to the right at exit 74A, onto I-195, the Downtown Expressway. Take Arthur Ashe Boulevard exit. Oddly, when you stop at what you'd expect to be Arthur Ashe Boulevard, it's not. It's Robinson. Go ahead and make a right on Robinson and go about four blocks to a left on Grove. In two blocks you'll pass Arthur Ashe Boulevard and then you'll see our white picket fence on the left, across from the museum. Park on the street or see "Parking" below.

From the west: take I-64 E. At exit 186, merge onto 1-195, the Downtown Expressway. Take the Grove Avenue exit. Oddly, you'll make three right turns (mimicking a clover-leaf-type circle) to actually get onto Grove Avenue. Go about seven blocks and you'll see our white picket fence on your right. Park on the street or see "Parking" below.

From the east: or from the airport: take I-64 W. At exit 190, merge onto 1-195, the Downtown Expressway. Take the Arthur Ashe Boulevard exit. Oddly, when you stop at what you'd expect to be Arthur Ashe Boulevard, it's not. It's Robinson. Go ahead and make a right on Robinson and go about four blocks to a left on Grove. Planes

We're 20 minutes from Richmond International Airport, with nine carriers: AirTran, American, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, Northwest, Skybus, United, and US Airways.

We're a couple of hours from Dulles International or Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.

Trains

The train station is 10 minutes away. Richmond is en route from Miami to New York, from Charlotte to New York, and from Newport News to Boston. Amtrak is a wonderful way to get to Washington D.C., where you arrive at a spectacular Beaux Arts train station within walking distance to Smithsonian Museums.

Parking

We have complimentary parking in the back, within the gates of our property. You enter the alley from Colonial which is a one-way street. The four sides of the block are Grove, Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Floyd and Colonial – and from Colonial you enter the 2nd entrance to the alley. Our house is the third one. You'll see "2811" on our privacy fence. Take a left into the parking area.
